History

Just a little reflection really......  International Timber was formed in 1993 from the amalgamation of 3 long established businesses; John Ashworth’s in Manchester, Gliksten Hardwoods in Parkend, Gloucester and Waterman and Ross in Colchester, Essex. All successful specialist businesses in their own right. 

 

It was recognised however, that by merging together we could grow on each others strengths and become the leading player in our chosen market place.  Through our combined knowledge, experience and commitment from all the teams, we then started to grow our business and look forward to continuing this growth.
