We offer our customers with Certified Chain of Custody timber through our national distribution network.
Importantly, our certified timber meets the increasing demand to provide timber that complies with government CPET requirements and BRE house building schemes. Many large contractors and local authorities now require certification to satisfy their sourcing policies.
Recent legislation in England and Wales has meant that using certified timber in your building projects helps you earn material points under the Code for Sustainable Homes scheme. These points can result in your building project achieving higher ratings. Our CoC sites can supply timber products that are compliant with either ‘Legal’ or ‘Legal and Sustainable’ specification in the Government procurement policy using one of the approved schemes, such as FSC or PEFC, where we are committed to implement and maintain the CoC requirements in accordance with the relevant standards.
To ensure that timber complies with your requirements the specifications must be confirmed at the time of order. Our certified timber is denoted in our product listings. Variability in the consistency of supply of certified hardwoods can affect product availability.
