International Timber is a member of the WWF95+ Group and Forests Forever and is committed to providing high quality products from well managed sources. We support the independent certification of sustainable forestry, for example FSC or PEFC, and we work to link the increasing demand for independently certified sources with an expanding global supply base.

Sustaining the forest reserves is critical both to continued prosperity and global environmental stability. As a member of the Timber Trade Federation, we are signed up to the Environmental Code of Practice which encourages improved standards of conduct and condemns illegal logging practices.

In line with Saint-Gobain group policy we comply with all current legislation in place at the country of origin for timber purchasing. Through our accreditation to FSC and all PEFC, all sites hold full chain of custody for trade in certified products.
