Manchester Midnight Walk

Timber Groupies Cath McGuire, Val Humphreys, Kim Morris, Alan and Jacqui Mullarkey completed a 10km midnight walk around the streets of Manchester on Friday 2nd July in just over 2 hours.

 

They joined 3000 others as the yellow “snake” of people from all ages; kids, adults, pensioners and even a dog, pounded the route on this warm summer’s night. 

 

Alan Mullarkey, IT Support Manager at International Timber stated, “We passed many of the Manchester sites and late night revellers; it was great fun and a great experience, well worth the aching knees the following day”

 

Together the groupies with help from Softwood Sales employees, Stephanie Harris and Stephanie Hill raised over £700.00 for the St Ann’s Hospice appeal.
