International Timber supported the world’s largest vocational competition WorldSkills by supplying timber for the joinery and carpentry categories.
Managing director of International Timber, Tony Miles, commented: “We supplied all of the timber used by competitors in the joinery and carpentry categories and received some really positive feedback from both competitors and organisers about the quality of the product they were using. Everything we supply is of the highest standard and I think by having a good quality product professional carpenters and joiners, like the competitors, can produce outstanding results.
“We’re really pleased to have been a supplier at WorldSkills as we’re a strong supporter of skills development. WorldSkills is a great event as it showcases the amazing abilities of the next generation of craftspeople and demonstrates the vocational career paths available.”
