Dark Red Meranti

Dark Red Meranti is medium to dark red-brown, commonly with conspicuous white dammar or resin streaks. Sapwood is pink and rather poorly defined. The grain is interlocked, giving a broad stripe figure on quartered surfaces. Texture is rather coarse. The timber is moderately durable
