Glulam

 

 

Glulam (glued, laminated timber) is an attractive, environmentally friendly engineered timber product.

 

It is durable, easily worked and is far more fire resistant than many alternatives. Glulam has a greater strength and rigidity when compared to solid construction timber in equivalent dimensions. It also provides a sustainable alternative to steel beams, being manufactured from timber that originates from certified forests and requires less energy to manufacture. Additionally it has the pleasing visual appearance of natural wood. We work in partnership with Setra to provide Glulam of the very highest quality.
