Timber can be 'finished' in a number of different ways to improve its visual apperance or physical properties.
International Timber machines rough sawn timbers to smooth standard profiles for internal and external joinery, the most common of which are regularised timber, PSE and mouldings. Bespoke mouldings are available on request.
International Timber is also an approved Sikkens coating specialist. We provide a choice of coating options to enhance the beauty and prolong the appearance of timber cladding.
Typically we apply one coat of Cetol® WP582 followed by two coats of Cetol® WF781 which results in an attractive satin finish. These coatings are applied in-house by vacuum process. Once installed on-site a finishing coat should be applied to provide a fully sealed façade which gives excellent weather resistance. For more information please visit www.sikkens.co.uk
