Our Quality Policy is based on the following fundamental principles:
• To continually improve customer satisfaction by operating an efficient and effective quality procedure incorporating a robust audit process
• To continually review our quality procedure to identify improvements and ensure ongoing compliance with the latest legislation and standards
• To recognise the importance of working together with our customers and suppliers to meet the expectations of both of these Stakeholder groups
Through these principles International Timber is dedicated to a quality commitment which seeks to ensure that customer expectations are met at all times.
International Timber has had quality systems accreditation (most recently ISO 9001:2008) at all its locations since the early 1990’s. Gaining ISO 9001:2008 accreditation means that our sites take a structured approach to quality management and are committed to continuously improving the way business is carried out. This ensures that our customers and suppliers receive a seamless and consistent level of service regardless of which sales office handles their account.
The ISO 9001:2008 process will increase the benefits and efficiencies that International Timber offers its customers, in particular to contractors working within the public sector, where certification is an integral part of dealing with government organisations.
We are delighted to be a leading player in the industry regarding ISO accreditation.
